I loved working for a whole day on developing community music in Munich Libraries, with the director und 25 people of the Munich Libraries.

So good to work with the greek community on developing community music in Greece. Well done Lida Stamou, Ioannis Litos and Rafaela Troulou for organizing this event - and it was so nice to work with Catherine Birch and Lee Higgins again!

Pleased to be part of this publication: A special issue on community music in the German journal for instrumental teachers and music educators.
What a beautiful month with so many encounters, finally connecting with people in person again:
A weekend in Hildesheim with the students and colleagues of the MA Musik:Welt Cultural Diversity in Music Education. We learned and listened to the Master thesis projects of the students and spent a beautiful evening celebrating and dancing and singing and eating together. Thank you Morena and Raimund!
Followed by an intense day in Hamburg at the Elbphilharmonie working with the education team and a group of wonderful artists collaborating on a community project. Starting with a tour of the concert hall, to me leading two workshops: one on developing a deeper understanding of community music, followed by a creative arts workshop implementing approaches to community music through dance, spoken word and music. Thank you Ilka, Kian and Charlotte!
And so a new chapter begins in Düsseldorf: I will start as Professor for music in social work / community music!
