Promotionsstipendium / PhD Scholarship

I am very pleased and grateful to have received a PhD scholarship starting this autumn by the Bavarian ministry of education for my PhD on Developing Community Music in Munich :-)

Konzeption und Koordination der Internationalen Tagung Community Music in Theorie und Praxis: 12. - 14.11.15

Die Tagung „Community Music in Theorie und Praxis“ wurde von der Hochschule München, Fakultät für angewandte Sozialwissenschaften, Professur für Bewegung, musische Bildung, kreatives Gestalten, Prof. Dr. Burkhard Hill ausgerichtet.

Konzept und Leitung Community Music

In January 2015 the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra commissioned me to lead and develop their first community music programme culminating in performances in November 2015.

I developed and lead four projects with musicians from the orchestra and partners in the city.
1. a Community Orchestra in collaboration with Wolfi Schlick of the Express Brass Band

2. a music theatre project with the TheaterSpielhaus Munich
3. a project in collaboaration with the Freie Musikzentrum Munich's programm Drumpower, developing a performance based on a story with a primary school
4. a soundscape in collaboration with a primary school and Heinz Friedl of Musik zum Anfassen
